Information and Service Terms

*We take security seriously, as such we provide same day update of all critical security patches released for WordPress core and any installed plugins and themes on your website. Critical security patches will process in addition to your regularly scheduled monthly, weekly, or daily patch updates provided with your maintenance plan.

Monthly included Website Edit labor time does not stack/rollover month to month. Website Edit means updating and editing of existing information only and does not include creation of new pages, creating new themes, making major theme and design changes, etc. Hours not used in a month are forfeit and nonredeemable. Additional Website Edit labor is discounted at a rate of $45/hour for WordPress maintenance package subscribers.

For Mobile & Tablet Optimization, we do a full site audit to check that all pages are passing Google’s mobile-friendly test and that the website works across all screen sizes and make a best-effort attempt to fix any issues reported. For Image & Media Optimization, we check that all images are compressed and served in the correct size for the image container – this improves page load performance and mobile optimization. For Speed Optimization, we test the website using Google PageSpeed and YSlow performance testing and implement the suggested changes from those evaluations.

We cannot guarantee a certain page speed load time for a website as many factors affecting page speed are outside our control, including server speed, datacenter uplink speed, hardware and OS factors, ability to access server for necessary changes, etc. We provide the best effort service to optimize the website and achieve the greatest performance score possible.

The first month’s charges include the monthly service charge plus the cost of any necessary plugins for provided services, plus our labor for performing website audits, changes, and service configuration. Plugin renewal costs are billed annually on the anniversary date of service start.

All WordPress maintenance packages require a one-year commitment – pay annually and receive a prepay discount on any package. WordPress maintenance service requires autopay through ACH or Credit/Debit card payments and will be billed and processed on the 1st of the month for monthly pay clients, or on the anniversary date of annual pay clients. WordPress maintenance packages auto-renew until we receive a request from you for cancelation at least two weeks prior to your service anniversary date.
